Pentru mine Eurythmics ramane cea mai nonconformista trupa a tuturor timpurilor,nu pentru ca Annie Lennox ar fi aparut in fundul gol pe scena,ar fi aparut sex tape'uri cu ea prin presa sau pentru nu stiu ce scandaluri(toate astea ar fi facut din Eurythmics o trupa ca toate celelalte la ora actual),ci pentru ca au oscilat intotdeauna intre stiluri,lucru care m-a fascinat mereu.Nu poti observa notele de gospel sau R&B din melodiile lor fara a le sterge origina rock,prezenta backing vocals'ului de culoare aduce si ea un plus la melodiile lor.

"Missionary Man" este,dupa parerea mea cea mai expresiva melodie a lor,are toate elementele care ii definesc plus un un videoclip care te face sa spui "Ohh boy!" si da,Annie Lennox e o femeie superba,ador femeile care au aceea frumusetse care nu are nevoie se fie incadrata de par pentru a parea perfecta,Annie Lennox e perfecta.

Daca m-ati fi intrebat acum 2 luni cine e Doro probabil v-as fi spus ca e alta fufa care se crede regina rock'ului si care a avut ocazia de a urca pe aceasi scena cu Motorhead(in prealabil am aflat ca si cu alte nume mari ale scenei muzicale),daca ma intrebati acum,va spun ca Doro Pesch pe numele sau real e una din acele femei puternice care sta la baza succeselor barbatilor.
Stiti deja ca am o admiratie deosebita fata de femeile care razbat intr-o lume a barbatilorsi nu sunt multe care reusesc sa iasa in fata,mai ales in lumea rock'ului sau a sportului,dar sunt multe care "trag sforile" din umbra.
In varsta de 48 de ani,Doro si-a inceput cariera in mijlocul anilor '80,sustinuta de Lemmy Kilmister,Tarja Turunen si Klaus Meine,apare ca backing vocals pe mai multe albume Motorhead si si-a trait mai toata viata pe langa marile nume ale rock'ului.

Femeia a fost privita in luema rock'ului ca o marioneta sexuala inca de la Aretha Franklin(spre exemplu)in coace.Barbatii ce activeaza in aceasta industrie au vazut femeia mereu ca pe un simbol al sexualitatii exploatat la maximum pentru a promova albume,cantece,videoclip'uri.
Diferenta vizibila dintre industria rock si celelalte industrii muzicale,comerciale este ca femeia a luptat pentru ceea ce este pana in ultima clipa si nu a stat sub prejudecatile barbatilor ce credeau ca doar ei au loc pe scena.In lumea pop'ului,de exemplu,femeile se lasa injosite de barbati prin videoclip'uri,pictoriale,versuri etc...
