Primul single de pe unul dintre cele mai de succes albume solo ale lui Ozzy,Down to Earth,”Gets me through” este unul din cele doua cantece din intreg track list-ul care a trecut in urechile ascultatorilor drept “hit”,alaturi de “Dreamer”.Albumul pe care apar atat Zakk Wylde cat si Robert Trujillo s-a vandut in peste 1.500.000 copii si a fost clasat cu 4 stele de catre AllMusic si Rolling Stones,debutand pe locul 19 in UK si pe 4 in US Billboard 200.

Referitor la personajele care l-au “consacrat” in ochii unei buna parti din public,”Iron man” sau “Antichrist-ul”,Ozzy tine sa mentioneze in versurile melodiei ca nu este niciului din cele doua,imaginile din videoclip-ul original facand referire la evenimentele din 11 Septembrie,producatorii fiind nevoti sa il modifice anterior pentru ca MTV nu a acceptat publicarea sa pe post.A ocupat locul 2 in Mainstream Rock Tracks,Billboard,fiind pe locul 3 in preferintele fanilor in urma unui sondaj realizat de revista Metal Edge.
